I know she did, just got done doing the front brakes on my 54 Chevy, I got it all back together and can't find my dust covers any where. Went to the neighborhood typical parts store they didn't have a clue and the ones on the "help" rack aren't right , gotta have them by this weekend . Anyone know a part number or who might have them.
    Thanks

I needed some dust covers one time and could not find direct replacements. I measured the ones in the help section and I got lucky and found some just slightly too big.

I cut the lip that goes in the hub in three places witha die grinder and then drove it in. I have removed them and reinstalled them and they seem to hold fine.

Hopefully you can get as luck as I did.

Actually, I had the same prob (losing a dust cap... not with the dog eating them!). The Advanced guy sold me some fancy pants Mr. Gasket chrome ones that didn't fit. I went back and found some plain janes in the "Help!" section that work great. Napa also has them if you ask.

For some reason, I was thinking about the dust shields used on disc brakes, but you probably are running stock brakes.
