cutting glass on a chopped top

    I am trying to findout how and if you could cut the glass after chopping a top.I hear you can cut the front glass but not the back, I've heard everything from sandblasting to plasma cutting, can it be cut? thanks dave

    why don't you ask this in the main forum... this is just for q's about the message board. I would also fill out your profile so we know who you are... if you have not done a introduction on the main hokey**** message board then you should before you post a question... this means tell the board who you are and what you are doing here. Give some pictures of what you are building and maybe one of your girl. I am just giving you a little tip before you get your**** chewed off by the HAMB intro police.

    You can use a Glass cutter,sandblaster,or wet saw with a Diamond blade to cut the front glass.
    The rear glass is tempered,so it can not be cut.

    you should this isnt the right post I see alot of other people asking questions about cars.I already went through that introduction stuff. send me a picture of your girl first,you do out with girls right?

    I'm not getting bent and I apolize for posting in the wrong section, but i cant stand idiots that say things on the computer that they wouldnt say to someone's face.

    Someone told me that chevy's of the 40's have a laminated back window for 53 and 54's chevys and I am sure they are available eslewhere. so I quess if you dont want to lay down the back window or slide it down into the trunk you could buy one of these laminated back windows and have it cut.

    relax beat. I dont think anyone was saying anything that they would say to your face..its all cool.. Just repost your questions across the street and youll get a good responce
