any of the jag clip folks tried it? i know it's probably be close even if it did and maybe even some clearancing of the calipers or something might get it but i need to know if it's possible before i ship a set of wheels across country that i can't use. not a huge deal if not just found a nice set of star wires that i'd like to pick up if it's possible. 14x6 and nice condition. if they won't work i'll keep holding out for 15x7 and if nothing else if a set hasn't shown up by the time the clip is done it'll get the supremes off the buick and the buick will get a set of wires...ken....
A standard steel rim fits but only just. There's only about 1/8 clearance between the rim and the calliper. Aftermarket wheels might therefore not fit at all. Also, my front clip is a Series 1 with solide discs. Even this rim might not fit on later Series clips. As you might know the Jags came starndard with 15" rims. Best advise I can give is to play it save and get 15" wheels.
cool thanks for the info. it's funny when i was looking for 14s for another project i couldn't seem to find a decent set. now i seem to be finding more 14s than 15s. i guess thats the way it tends to go haha...ken....
