I'm sure there has to be some people on here from the midwest. I'm not on here too much, but I'm currently living in Phx, AZ and thinking of moving back towards the midwest (Chicagoland area) and was wondering what the scene is like back there. I haven't lived there for 10yrs and was wondering if it's decent and if there are any good car shows & music stuff happening. It wasn't too bad 10yrs ago.. alot of good car shows and what not. I know about the guys from Indy and that's supposed to be a good one and the Hunnert should be good. There isn't shit for shows in AZ maybe a goodguys show once a year, and thats kinda lame at best seeing it's in Scottsdale with all the fancy shmancies. So if anyone on here knows the midwest scene and want's to put in their two cents i'd appreciate it alot! Thanks alot.
The hunnert car pileup should be reason enough. If you used to live here you may still remember how real pizza tastes. Lots of cool shows in the chicago area.
Hahaha.. True.. Pizza is much better there.. well food in general is much better there.. Probably also a factor as why so many people there are overweight! hahaah =D The snow sounds good too! hahah . In General I just need a change though. and that sounds good to me

Alot of good shows in that area, but the Rust Revival and the Krop dusters would be reason enough to make the move. Lot of good people over thier. Gary
There are a lot of good things going on in the Chicago area. The Voodoo Kings have a nice cruise every saturday May-Oct. Of course, there's the Pileup. In IN there's the Ducktail and Road Rockets' shows. Many "normal" car shows. As for Rockabilly, there are lots of great bands... but this is all you need to know http://www.bigcjamboree.com

There's plenty to do around here. Our shop (HRCC) does a reliability run each summer. The VK cruise is always cool. Big C is awesome. Look here as well. http://www.chicagorockabilly.com. And our band just released our second cd. Hahaha. Lots of good bands around chicago. I think we all take it for granted, but I have been told that here in chicago we don't know just how good we have it.
