I never really had a formal introduction, so I think this would be a bit more befitting, Hi, I'm Derek, or Bogey or Burgy, as I'm also referred to, I'm a 23 year old western canuck boy and this is my first automotive building adventure of any kind. This is what I've been plucking away on for the last 9-10 months.

Obviously it's a "rudy" style truck, or the beginnings of, As you can sort of see the rearend doesnt fit under the frame, a slight change of plans did that. I was originally intending to do a 4" channel, however once I placed the body on the frame that I built, the frame ended up filling the little gap on the bottom of the body near the cowl, and made the whole thing flow kind of decently, and I thought "Hey that looks neat," so now I need to hack the rear zed off redo the whole shebang and add 4 inches. Also with loosing the channel I am now doing a leaf behind axle setup in the front, like that on the Mr. Yuk car. Which also brings up another point the front axle is pictured roughly 3 inches back from where it will be, which will give me roughly 3 inches clearance with the intended notch in the frame.

I'm trying to make this thing as traditionally styled as possible(I know these things arent traditional by any means, so any bit helps), A flathead was originally slated to go in this thing, but now that block will be going to my 31 A, im doing in a late 40's early 50's vibe, later down the road, this is the practice build for that. It will be finished, a matte silver, black and chrome, is the color scheme Im thinking, I got a donated 360 Mopar from my old mans, 74 challenger parts car,(I wouldve went with something older however this is cost efficient and its in my shop) Which I plan to hopefully put 3 rochesters on it with some offy valve covers to make it a little more old-timey looking, 8-3/4 rear end is out of the same car.
