I'm looking for 4 skinny (4'-5") wide steel rims for my Bonneville car.
I need 5 on 5 1/2" stud pattern. Did anything like this come on any Ford or anything else?
I've already got a set of 5 1/2" wide rims, but I was looking for something a bit narrower.
    Cheers,
    Stewart

they are tough to find! I had a 4 and 1/2 inch set made, for mine...I am gonna look into changing that bolt pattern, eventually, on mine, because I can't play around with alot of different wheels, especially the spoke type ones, due to the pattern...not in 15" anyway...
A set of 16", early steel wheels, that are 4 " wide and 5 on 5 and 1/2", are on the online auction, at the moment...

Ford made some F-100 truck wheels that were 15" with 5 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern that look just like '40 Ford wheels and I believe were 5" wide. I think they were made in the '50's and early 60's.

I believe they were on 49 -51 mercury as well. Here's what I have on the rear (15 x 5). Also, take any ford inner rim (held by rivots) and they can be welded to another rim (like a chevy or something that is 4 1/2" or 5" wide).

I think the Golden Rod did the swap of two rims to have the narrow rim and be 15".

15" space saver hoops are in the 4" to 4.5" wide range...might be able to pop in some old centers..... i had some rally wheels made up years back before they were everywhere.....another thing....seems like there were some double pattern space savers out too....just can't remember what the patterns were ....seems like one was a 5" ......not sure on the other .... brandon:D

Those dual hole space savers are Chevy and have 5 X 4.75" and 5 x 5" pattern. They were found in Caprices and BOP fullsize cars in the '80s.

So you are looking for old wheels for your Bonneville car? You're willing to buy wheels of unknown runout and straightness for a race car? That's kinda crazy sounding to me.

I'd suggest new wheels for a race car.
