7oor4 Id Help

Going too rebuild a trans 700r4, that been my shop for years. The only think I know about it ,is the stamped # on the case behind the gov. Can any of you ID this number for me! 4YK319B It has the 4 pin plug. Making sure I order the correct parts. Any help would be great

 

I can't decipher the # but if it has a half moon shaped parting line over the cooler line ports, it is a '87 or newer.

perhaps it is a 1984 unit? kind of early....not so good....

 

It's a 1984 model. Squirrel is right, it is not that good. Try finding an 87-92 model.

 

The best thing about the 87 -92 is they would still have the speedo cable, I believe.
