Didnt copy anyone elses. Just started from scratch and made them the way I wanted them. I'm sure thats the way the first ones were done so I would consider them "traditional"

I believe this belongs to a HAMBer, but I don't remember who. I took the pic at the Starbird show in Tulsa last February

I agree. I probably won't flame any of the cars I own, ever. But my daily is scalloped and I'm all sorts of into that. I think some just ***ociate hotrods and customs with flames. I've done different styles and I just can;t find one that really gets it for me.

A young guy at Church seen a picture of a car I flamed,... he asked if I could still do that?, I said well it's been a lot of years but I think so, He asked me to flame his bike, I think there traditional,....

I never got a chance to wheel it out,.... the kid hit the ground running and didn't stop,....

I've seen this 5 window a couple of times in the goodguys gazette and the flames really get my attention. I would probably never flame one of my own cars, but if I did, I would hope it would look something like that car. I don't know if that is tradditional, but I that is what i envision when I think of a flame job.

Yeah thats what i'm talking about, great pics guys thanks for sharing, I love the watson seaweed style, especially on that black 55, grumpy your truck is awesome and those mercs are looks rad with the flames too, I think flames just have to fit the car and person, their not for everyone, and true flames, its cool art no doubt, but just fits certain cars/trucks.. love the hotrod pics you guys are posting.. crazy how simple some are and look great but then some get crazy and flow everywhere and look awesome too!.. here's another one, simple, but great i think, mike b's buick.

Ah shucks guys...thanks! Always loved flames, and have seen many I liked and more that I didn't. Always wanted a car with flames, ever since I was a kid. Never really knew there was so many guys who DON"T like flames. I was surprised how many poeple who have told me they liked my car better before.
Oh well...it's just the way I like it...
