HOODIES??!!??? Did someone say HOODIES??? FINALLY! My hometwon posse is gonna be sick of seeing me in my new HCP hoodie swag by the end of this winter.
Going to Mexico on the 19th-21st, so we had to reschedule Chet's b-day party to the 13th... have some suds for me, I'll be supervising a houseful of wild 11-12 year olds.
Got another snag unfortunately... a good buddy of ours is moving to San Francisco and Friday night is the only time we can get together with him before he goes.
Anybody coming through Indy got room in the back of a truck? I want to bring my bike out, but it is not 4 hours rideable. Bultaco Metralla 2-stroke cafe racer.
Yo Trent, I'll be in Sycamore (40 miles NW of Morris) Sunday after the Pileup, maybe we can meet for beers then. Otherwise if you get into Chicago early gimme a call on my cell, maybe we can get together before hand.
We'll be there regardless...I may have to park my wife's VW convertible downtown and walk in... 10 days till we have to go, and my '64 is in many large pieces in my front yard. I'm praying to the car gods...
They need to bring their candy shooting shotguns! That'll help Zenor keep the rugrats in line. BTW, I hope I didn't make a deuche of myself at the CD drop. Gin is a wonderfull thing.
Other than not introducing your female friend to your friends for 10 minutes was your only faux pas ...that I saw.
I'm horrible with names. But not with the people that I go somewhere with, and especially not hot chicks that I go somewhere with.
She's spoken for. And not by me. It's been a while since I've made new friends, so I think everyone knows everyone else by now. Does that make any sense? Oh and I think Elyssa may come down to Morris for the pre-party. You might have created a new rabid fan.
For anybody wondering Yorkville is only 25 mins north of the grounds. No turns necessary, straight up 47.
Still might try the Super 8 over in Ottawa (815) 434-2888...its about 12/15 miles to the east on I-80. There's also a Holiday Inn Express there too I think, I can't remember the name of the motel right behind the Super 8. But it's clean too. HellRaiser HellRaiser
Here's a map of the Fairgrounds. We'll have maps at the show, but I just wanted to point something out. "The Pit" area will have a lot of vendors and swap meet spaces, including FREE fuses from the Shriners (good ones, too!), so don't forget to check it out. Also, our friend Randy from the Voodoo Kings will be out in front of the gates in the morning selling coffee and donuts, so you early birds can keep warm and have something to do... likewise, we'll also have a portapotty out front for removal of said coffee...
