heading up to good guy`s in the morning . thinking about taking 281 all the way up it`s to the west of me about the same distance as 35 is . a lot more stop light`s but I here 35`s a mess ? I would rather hop on 35 and go how is it ? thank`s Casey
it really depends on weather and time of day. Im in fort worth and if i head your way at an odd hour ill shoot down 35, but if its during heavy traffic times or ****py weather 281 to 67 is your best shot. Id look at what time you were thinking of heading out and see if it will put in waco or fort worth during a peak traffic time. Oh an temple can **** to drive through. Once you get to the 35 east/west split, it will be gravy till you hit fort worth. but even then if its real bad just get off on loop 820, head west and it will byp*** alot of the **** you might hit at the north side of forth worth just past down town. hope some of that helps.
There's construction near Hillsboro at the 35 E/W split. Other than that, every time I've driven it in the past few weeks/months its just been normal I-35 traffic. - Matt
I just made that trip last weekend. Stroked is right, the only issue is at the split, I went the Dallas route though and it wasn't too bad. You might be running into issues because it OU weekend...
I will bring my secret bag of trick`s ! I have a cordless with 4 batteries if it`s gonna be a double chop weekend !
Just keep in mind that this is also Texas / Oklahoma weekend and the state fair is going on also! 35E and 35 from the split to Austin will likely be a Zoo closer to the weekend. Just a thought??? Scott...
