After 2 years and 1300 hours the car is officaly sold.. A guy from Long Isand NY came today around new time and picked up the car. Paied cash in full for it. Crispy Hundred dollar bill's.. Unfortunily I was at work doing a crazy shift, and didnt give it a final look, -Tear Tear- I just want to say thanks for all your comments, and letting me post up some progress pictures and stuff... Give it a last look, The guy who bought it , is spending 50k to make it into a billet ridler car... Dead Serious.. R.I.P Steve's sled..
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo. If he told me that I would have said I changed my mind. What a waste. Sorry to hear that man.
ouch, achingly close on such a bad*** ride. it ****s that the rich people that can afford $50k cars have such bad taste. imagine what anyone of us on this board could do for $50k , a fricking fleet of rods each with more character than any trailer queen riddler. Ian
That is way too sad . I only hope that this helps you to get back on track. From the pics it looks like you have another . Good luck man .SwaZZie
Congratulations and condolences...... hope you got a LOT more for it than you were askin' here .......That was some NICE work man ...... jersey Skip
Nice car, too bad ya had to sell it. =( 50 grand wouldent be one 10th of what it costs to build a riddler level street rod. Rydells 35 "Grandmaster" is rumored to be in the 7 figure range.... hell it takes a 10 grand display just to show them damn cars.
Well I hope, you got what you wanted and more..........you know the old saying......."when one door closes, another one opens"..........I hope there's another KOOL ride behind the next door!
The work on that one looked good- It seems like you will be able to come back with more next time around.
Sad news indeed...that car had real potential and it doesn't sound like the new owner has a vision for what that potential was.
That's a real bummer, looked like it was going to be a real tasty motor. Think positively the next one will be even better if that one was anything to go by. Daisyduke
Yea, it really is a shame. To many Projects, not enough room... We really got tired of working on the car.. You know its time to take a break when you wrench on it, and it feels like more work than fun.. steve-
Hey Rat, you Still lookin' for a 52 Chevy 2dr? Or do you have too many projects? PM me if your still lookin'. Billy
