337 lincoln

my buddy pulled his plug wires and turned his distributor a few teeth.would like to know correct firing order, cylinder number locations and process to restab distibutor properly. 49 337 baby lincoln ...distributor is in rear.

 

firing order is 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8

starting @ front

cyls 1,2,3 & 4 are on right side (passenger)
cyls 5,6,7 & 8 are on left side (driver).


Ford never changed cylinder numbering,
only changed firing order beginning w/ Clevelands.
