Didn't make this cruz due to family stuff, but my hat's off to you guys ! You guys have your heart in the right place.
I don't know what to say. That is probably the coolest thing anyone could have done for him. I was telling my wife about what you guys were doing and all I could feel is proud. I am proud to be a part of a community that engages in such thoughtfull acts if kindness. I wish I could of been there to see his smile in person.
This one of the things that makes the people of our country so good. If someone is in trouble, people well do what they can to help out. Glad to read that y'all did just that. Nice looking bunch of cars.
Gets me a little emotional looking at all the pic's,Feder. What a great thing to do for somebody,out of the kindness of your hearts. Goes to show you...it's NOT all about the cars! It's about people too. You're a fantastic bunch of guys,and have my respect. Wish I could've joined you. Kick ***,Andy! Get better and drive the **** out of that Hotrod. Bad Bob.

Well folks i just came back from the Janeway childrens hospital to visit our buddy Andy. I couldnt meet him at the airport because i was a little stuffed up and figured Andy didnt need my sniffles.......... But He is freak'n awsome! I couldnt believe how healthy he looked and how well he spoke..........before he left his voice was much much worst. His feeding tube is scheduled for early this week, then home Chris said they wil be bringing him home for Thanksgiving (canadian version) and then back to hospital. Rose and Chris couldnt describe how the HAMB has made a difference and especially the Amb***itors who battled the rain to let Andy have his own special car show. It brought tears to Roses eyes when she was talking about it. As well i feel honored to be the owner of the very rare and special HAMBANDY GET WELL CRUISE t-shirt............Beetle you and your buddies are a tough act to follow. Thank you very very much. Andy will be home soon and will fill you all in on his journey, Rose and Chris asked me to Thank You so much for making Andy a part of your life. The Andy posts are far from over as we almost have all the parts needed to beging the build. Thank you everyone Leon House
Andy, Ya gotta criuse the "a" out here when you get your license. Dont forget Tacoma has "Hot-Rod-a-Rama" hint,hint, {we are south on I-5 about 40 kliks from Seattle}
That would be one heck of a long cruise,about 4000 mi.,but somehow it seems possible for that tough hot rodder.
That's great to hear Andy's doing so well. When I visited him before he left I really noticed an improvement as well. Glad to hear it continues to improve! I told him about Hotrod-a-rama and his eyes lit up! It may not be next year, or even the year after that, but somehow I feel he'll be back and this time to have fun!!! Keep fightin' Andy!
The HAMBANDY cruise had to be good medicine for all involved. I couldn't be there, but it's doing me good just reading about it - good one, Beet! When I was Andys age, I know what it meant to me when my older brother (Rocky) and his friends would let me in on some of the action - that meant everything to me! The HAMBANDY cruise must've been a hundred times more powerful than that... Keep savoring the energy from that moment, Andy. I need you to get well, so that I can meet you some day - maybe at the HAMB drags??? Until then, Scotty
