I was there this weekend. They were worse about it this year than any other before. All in all,I hope it does not get worse and the event fades away.I look forward to it every year.
If you weren't here, you didn't see what went on. And only in Biloxi, not the surrounding cities. Every 3rd car was a patrol car or bike. They were like the Gastapo, but don't blame the cops. I spoke to a friend of mine who is a Biloxi cop, and he said the order came straight from Mayor A. J. Holloway...ZERO tolerance on any infraction, no matter how minor. It was all about ticket revenue not safety. Those that were here should do what i'm doing, send a letter off to the Sun Herald,(sunherald.com) and also I have talked to a few friends on the CTC staff about it. It was that rediculous.
Chirping tires...... Hmmm, last time I did that was...ummmm...hmmmm...I can't remember. But I do know that when I did it I was showing my ***...it wasn't by accident.
Jerks are part of the reason why West Coast Kustoms is no longer in Paso Robles. We'll see how Santa Maria PD handles the crowds. This "burn out" thing is getting out of hand and it looks like the cities are trying to nip it before someone in their town gets hurt. Just my thoughts!
