1933 chevy p/up Assembly

i need information on the ***embly of a 33 chevy pick up ( Cab. front and rear ends, ch***i ect). My old man picked up an in pieces project and we can't figure out if the guy changed stuff around. or modified it at all.. and i was looking up book/manuals but everything seems to be for 60's cars.. im having no luck finding anything on it... any thing will help out.
