Mmmmmmmmm, my first post didn't work ??? Anyway, My name is Rod (aka Rocket, user name already gone) I run a small Rod shop in country Australia called Rods & Relics (if you hadn't guessed) We play around with mainly pre '48 cars and make Metal Shaping tools and trolleys etc. for the home builder. We don't just work on others cars, you can come and learn new skills, use equipment & so******e too(can be dangerous). My love for old cars started at childhood and has continued into everyday life. We love Old cars, Salt Lake Racing, Drag Racing, you name it, we get involved........Hot Rod Spoken here !! I'm very active in my club and involved in the TAC. For those that don't know our Rego. system, if you follow certain guidelines with the committee's approval, help from a TAC delegate (like me) you can register a pre '48 car with out the need for an engineer. (most states need engineer approval) I've been studying engineering (fabrication) part time (4 years so far) hoping this will help with my knowage base. We very p***ionate about Rods and live it daily. I'm on ozrodders.com a bit & have been hovering here a bit, so I thought I'd better join up. CHEERS & Happy Rod building to everyone. Rod.
