Another hot rod born today, got her fired up and moved it under its own power to at about 7 o'clock, pulled her out of the garage but i heard a big clack clack noise, so we started to investigate, figured it was the rear end, took it apart but it looked fine, so i had an extra carrier there and decided just to put the other one it, put it in and started to put the drive shaft back in and noticed that the drive shaft moved hard in 2 spots when i turned it, turns out that the front trans yoke didnt have enough travel in it for the angle of driveshaft, plus its and inside clip yoke and an outside clip driveshaft, so needless to say we got her all modified and back in.

so i got in fired her up and when down the block, pitch black, no lites period, but still found my way back home, seems to run and drive great, brakes work awsome, clutch work really god, over all very good.

tomorrow i just have to wire in the taillights headlights and the alt and put the dash in and shes ready to go.

I took it for a 30 mile jaunt today, i think i have to change the carrier back to the other one again, this one seems noisy.

it also started to steam out but not really overheat on the way back, im gonna try a higher pressure rad cap, i put a 7 on it but ill try a 13 or a 15.

i also need to get the windsheild on it, man is it windy.

Now I'm cranking on the interior. Door panels are done, just have to put them on. I have all of the tuck'n'roll sewn up. Tomarrow I should be close on the seat.

    Thats right horizontal candy cane.

No video yet. Tuck is not here, we have hot rod building tools, no video cameras!

I am back to changing the rear end carrier again, to the one that was in there originally.

Got the headlights, tail lights, ignition, and brake lights all wired up, got the dash in also.

I am having a windshield cut tomorrow.
