Lil John. It's excellent to hear that you are on the mend. God speed! I've been reading about your racing and rodding exploits for 40 years. A few months before the news of your health scare, I came across a part that had been hanging around a speed shop for a very long time. At the time, the unconfirmed story was that you'd made the part back in the early billet days. I wasn't sure about that, but if not yours, it was certainly a copy of your style. I bought the part and have based my current project - a '29 roadster on '32 rails - around it. Take care.

'hukedup' brought this to the top today to say Lil John just had a stroke and is BACK in the Hospital!!! Best wishes to you John. A stroke is recoverable. Don't let it get you down. Stay tough and fight it...
Again - not a religiouso, so I can't send anything but love. Hope this is just a bump in the road and you'll be back in the shop carving out another masterpiece - not just for us but for your family and friends. Lil, hope you get better soon man, strokes are rough, my dad had one back in 1990 and it changed our entire family. You are a great inspiration to many here, including myself, and I think we all want you to continue to inspire us for a little while longer. I offer my thoughts and prayers to you. Gray
Went to the Outriders show a few weeks back. Lil John was there walkin around , Looked alittle tired but looked great. Was great to see him and one of his cars.

this is leigh, johns daughter... my dad is home now, and is doing rehab to get his strength back. He's hanging in there, giving grief along he way, making us proud. Thanx for thinking of him.
