Blacktop Graffiti Issue #1 mock up cover

I love to read about music while listening to my newspaper. And here's some advice...drop the millionaires and go oldskool and feature the Village People.

 

Music/bands is a taste thing. I never take anyones advice on music. Some of the hambs favorite bands suck in my opinion.

 

Cool cover..

They remind me of Spinal Tap

 

I like evil1's cover. It "sings" to me. I can't figure out why, but if everyone hates OSR and CKD so much....how does that rag stay around? I am not being sarcastic, I am asking a genuine question.

 

Cars, a little music (can't hurt), and useful tech. I wish you well and look forward to getting a copy. Don't be affraid to slip a tasteful girly calendar in the first issue. I can never keep track of the days and months in a year. LOL

 

They just don't look much like car guys to me. pigpen

Ok if it's going to be called Blacktop Graffiti, the cover of the premire issue needs a photoshopped image of the Two Lane Blacktop 55 going up against the Graffiti 55....impossible in real life of course, 'caus they were the same car. then use this cover for #2... Or maybe just put Shakey Puddin on the first one .

 

They look like pinups for "Tour Bus Magazine".
The one on the right is looking at us naughtily while he humps his friends leg.
The one on the left looks like he's digging for something

 

they look like pitchers and catchers to me.
i could be wrong , the cars look cool though..

 

Once again if the hamb doesn't like it.. You gotta have pretty thick skin to post stuff on here. Don't take it to heart. If you dig it chances are someone else out there doe's too. I do not like OSR or that other magazine but some how I stiil buy them both each month. Most magazine cover the same 5 cars anyway. Stick with it.

 

Cover looks good. I think the 2nd cover better. Blacktop, can't wait to meet you at the pileup....

Except for the band cover looks cool, will buy it.

 

Very simple explanation.....their readers all get an allowance from mom, and have to spend it somewhere.

And remember it's a 'mock-up' cover. So if things change don't be shocked. I guess I'll put some hip-hopper on the cover.

Ok everyone I had a better idea. Since Tingler is gonna be doing some cool stuff for the 'zine I thought this might go over better. Not to mention I think it actually looks cooler. There is still gonna music inside but you'll just have to tear those pages out;

 

I'll buy one based simply on the cover car. Mine's red instead of green w/ flames, but a 62 is a 62, and you don't see many of them!

Seems like a crowded field for these car mags. I hope you find a niche and own it.

I listened to their music also. I hate it. Songs like "I just Want the Drugs" are just what a car mag needs! Some of their fans look interesting though. pigpen

 

I guess you can't please people all the time.

If everyone doesn't like this band give me some bands to contact! This is your magazine people, if you don't like it submit something.
