I installed some HiPo Exhaust Manifolds from a late 60's Mustang (see pictures) into my '57 Fairlane SBF swap project. I am running a very short and simple exhaust out of the manifolds. I have some small gl*** packs and plan to either exit on the sides behind the front wheels or just do a quick down turn out of the mufflers. Based on my measurements, I should be able to do this with standard pre-bent tubing and weld it up. The only thing I can't find is the exhaust manifold connection with the flare and 2-bolt flange. I've found 2-bolt flange plates online, but I can't find a connecting piece that has the flared end to sandwich between the flange and the manifold. Make sense? The pipe in the Hipo Manifolds are small at 2" ID. Any suggestions on where I can find this or get them made? What I want is just a short piece of pipe, maybe 6" or so that has the flare to hold the flange at one end and stretched at the other to accept the 2" pipe at the end of my headers. If anyone knows of a local source or shop in DFW that would make them, please let me know...or a place I can call and order them. I tried Speedway Motors online. They have some of the right designs, but not in the smaller 2" size I need and the 2 bolt flange seems fairly uncommon as well.
