Just wanted to post some pics of the Model A Roadster Pickup fresh out of the upholstry shop. Nice chop-nasty flattie-Lincoln Overdrive and much more.
You and Randy need to jump in that thing and head for Chicago in the morning! See ya there!! Looks great, I have been on the edge of my seat waiting to see it done.
Hey there...sweet truck...I can tell ya this...it is NOT a ratrod!! Just funnin with ya....do get mad I'm on your side...not everyone here can understand that just because it is not painted or patched and primed that it is all some can do for now!!! No matter what...if you build it and you like it....WHO CARES WHAT EVERYONE ELSE THINKS!!! Welcome to the oh so friendly HAMB....CHEERS!!!
Thanks for the support I'm getting beat up pretty bad over there I could care less I am just giving them something to talk about. I guess. Good way to get known on the ol hamb... Not the best way but I though I would ask the question.
That truck looks sweet - try not to take it too personally over there, most of the guys on here are actually very friendly and helpful, you just struck a bit of a nerve.
That truck is NO JOKE...totally awesome. Just saw your "rat rod" post...good stuff. That's one of the coolest RPU's I have seen in a long while...nice work.
Very cool truck. We're re doing my dad's 29 rpu right now. THE term has just come to be offensive and people get tired of politely rejecting the label. If some one calls your car THAT it's like saying "so, you're a trendy dumb *** that can't build a real car and by the way your car is period incorrect, unsafe and ugly, but I am sure you'll be moving onto a lifted Caprice with 28" wheels soon anyway". Soon the words will make you want to puke also. BTW Tell your sister I said hi.
Very nice! I like the old timey idea of keeping the splash aprons as frame covers. One kink, please tell me it is an optical/photographic angle delusion that the radiator shell is tilted forward at the top...please.
I think you did your Dad's truck thread a dis-service by posting that drama thread at virtually the same time, therefor dragging that drama onto here. It's a shame more folks will remember you cuz of the other post as oppose to this one.
That's gorgeous - and the splash aprons are different - something a lot of today's hot rods struggle to do. Your dad should be proud - and that is NOT a rat rod.
