From a photo album posted earlier: http://rides.webshots.com/photo/2350638000028908655nhkVGp I'm looking for something to mount over the frame-ends that remain sticking out the front of my '59 F100 when I remove the front bumper. Those conical chrome bumper pieces are just the ticket. Maybe sculpt them a bit to follow the lines of the body up there? Other alternative it to just chop them off and close up the hole in the sheetmetal. But my first choice is to do something a bit different.
Looks like third place. Thanks guys! Hey, anybody else know of appropriate bumper chrome to do what I want to do? This could lead to a cool collection of photos, I tell ya.
If I can't find a decent front bumper soon, i'll just go for the "pushtruck" look, with a wooden slab. Just like we saw the AA/Fuel dragsters get started with when we were kids. Might come in handy at the Nostalgia Drags!
I think I'll open this up to the community and start a new thread. BTW: I envy that big back window of yours. It's on my list to replace my little back window with a wide one from a donor.
