gotta pretty recent cl***ic trucks mag in the commode at home w/ a mod'd one in it. used dakota donations. Even as much of a hacker as I am, still kinda feel dirty lookin at such a rare ride gettin customed up.
That Nash tow truck has a '37 Chevy rear truck rear fender. And the body looks like it could have been a cut down fordor. Maybe some conversion company did them.
Desoto trucks were export only If I remember right. Re-branded Dodge trucks or something. Eyesight is the first to go, and I can't remember what was the second...
The Nash truck is a legitimate truck, the wrecker bed probably came with the Chevy fenders. So were the Studebakers which used the p***enger car front ends in the mid-50s. Goofy looking and used only on the big truck ch***is.
They sold both Dodge and Fargo trucks in Canada. The Dodge Dealer sold the Dodge trucks, and the Plymouth Dealer sold the Fargo trucks. I don't remember seeing the Fargo brand after the 50's, but they could have still been making them in the 60's. I own a 67 Mercury 1 ton, that was the second last year they built them in Canada. Bo
