Probably going to be tough to get a good hi-res picture, as I would guess the magazines would not want to focus on the cartoons, due to good taste! Hahaha......ugly women with huge breasts, hauling them around in a wheelbarrow!

You need to find a friend who's a CSI and have them use "image enhancement" to find the real identities of those ladies.

talking with Dick Dean many years ago said he did the Kopper Cart when he worked for Barris. told me he used a Nomad tail gate on it. doesn't lool like he needed the whole thing does it.
I always liked it because it was driven as a shop truck for quite sometime. nothing better than seeing a show car/truck going down the highway.

Example...a guy I know wanted pics of a Barris car he was cloning (not saying who this is, mind you!).
Calls Barris up.......George wants $250 just to START looking, and then $50 a picture when he finds them!
Can you believe that?

Barris has been promising to send us pics of the Kart for months now.......even after saying he would on TV (Car Crazy show).

 

Wow thats too bad , you would think hat he would be interested in seeing this old stuff resurected. The almighty $ steps in again and kills the fun.
2 of those really good rear shots that rikster posted are from the HRM article sept 1957. Maybe they would be more interested in helping with the re-creation and build.
If they still have the negs, and print it on good paper it might be clear enough to see.
I was looking through my old magazines and books, and it seems like something must have happened with the kart.
It was a p.r. vehicle for barris kustom, and then he sold it , and then it just drops off the face of the earth. no more press, pics... nothing until the mid 90's.

 

You'd think with all the super talented artists in here someone could draw it up for you guys?
