2-1/2 days of walking on ashphalt in everything from near-90° heat to cold drizzle, I managed to score the NOS wheel puller and used cam-driven water pump Weiand timing cover (pics below), relatively cheap. The timing cover has a bite out of it, but I'm planning on cutting both "ears" off and using it as a regular timing cover.......unless it'd be better to repair it - any opinions? Couldn't believe how much more teens - early 30's stuff there was this year, both in autos & parts. I've been going to the Hershey show for over 25 years and there's more of the REAL early stuff there, than there ever has, or so it seems to me. Car corral prices were about double what you'd expect, probably due to the weak dollar and the unbelievable number of foreign visitors - real bargain time for them.
I don't know about repairing the timing cover although it doesn't look like it would be a problem to have that one tab repaired. I just think it would look cool on an open engine.
We have been going to Hershey for over 40 years or more, and I think more people, vendors, are clearing out their investments. I think now is the best time to be there and cash out on their items.
