I asked this same question last year after the Pileup kind of wraps up the season. So what did everyone get out and see, and what was your favorite?

LuckysGal and I saw in order:

    1. Detroit Autorama
    2. Shifters Viva Las Vegas
    3. Billetproof Detroit
    4. Hot Rod Reunion Columbus
    5. Hunnert Car Pileup

Again, I'm going to say the pileup was my favorite. But Billetproof was the debut of my non running heap so it was a close second. I think we're really going to try and hit Hot Rod Cinematic and the HAMB drags next year. I really want to go to Speedweek but I'm not going to Bonneville until my roadster is up and running. So whatcha see?

Yeah, slow year for me as Fat Lucky got most of my disposable income this year. That show in KS is VERY HIGH on my list for next year as is the Jalopy Showdown and Jalopy Drags, both of which I missed this year.

It would be really hard to pick a favorite, they were all a blast. but being the first time at the Pile-Up and getting my Roadster back out on the road would put it near the top. Gary

  17. Had an absolutely superb year this year.

    World of Wheels - Indy
Beatersville Car & Bike Show - KY
    Good Guys - Indy
    Road Rocket Rumble - Indy
    Hot Rod Cinematic - OH
    Good Guys - OH
    HAMB Drags - MO
    Ducktail Run - Indy
    Newport Hill Climb - Indy
    Hunnert Car Pileup - IL

There were a handful of small local gatherings that we lots of fun as well, but those were the big ones.

I do have to say that for us in the midwest starting the hot rod season out with Beatersville, ending with the Hunnert Car and a Road Rocket show in the middle just can't get much better. If I could do those three shows every year for years to come, you could color me one happy guy.

I had my Caddy to shows in six different states this year, and went to a couple more without it plus a handfull of local shows / crusie ins. The bigger ones, in no particular order:

    Good Guys Nashville Tn
    Good Guys Columbus Oh
    Beatersville Louisville Ky
    NSRA Nats Louisville Ky
    Dixie Fried Atlanta Ga
James Dean / Ducktail run Gas City In
    Redneck Rumble Lebanon Tn
Hunnert car pile up Morris Il

Next year I want to add Billetproof Detroit and the Roundup in Texas. at the very least.

Not a single one, damn it! The car is still apart and I hate to watch other people have fun with their cars while mine is in pieces.
