Looking for different sources and different options- like opening doors, bed/turtledecks, stretched bodies. Let me know what's out there. Thanks Jim
speedway, total performance, custom classic roadsters, spirit industries, damn there are so many i will try to think of some more.
I asked a similar question once not too long ago...... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=176688&highlight=t-bucket
I thought Poli-form still made them - which should be closer for you. Of course all the rave reviews on Wescott's too. I think the opening door may narrow the search quite a bit. I was thinking most of the opening kits only opened one side too.
Normal or stretched version? Their product looks like it's really nice quality. Wish I could inspect it in person.
For $1750 (the price of the long body with opening door on the website) I am sure you could find a steel original body.
JimA, Do you want 23's or 27's? Do you want one stock or longer/wider. Answering those questions will narrow the field.
How much does a 27 with non opening doors cost in usa? Is this correct? 895$ for this body? http://www.tperformance.com/street_rod_store/bodies/1927_model_t_roadster_body/ Same body costs 1000$ in Sweden but then you get the dash and floor too. /Eric.
Jim, You need east coast, southern, heartland, & west coast suppliers. It would save on shipping. http://www.geocities.com/hermansfastglass/ JH
Yup. But they do have what is supposed to be one of the best bodies. You can buy cheaper bodies, but they are sub-standard quality.
That's EXACTLY what I want- does anyone know if that's a lost art. Looking for an extended '23 or a '27 WITHOUT the rear deck that can be bought molded in color- especially metalflake.
you might check with boat manufacturers.....old dog garage ( think thats it ) offers a stretched body....,maybe pm limey kid (stewart) he might know something....being that he was in that business... brandon
