Hey Simon, Clark and the other guys, that's my 4 banger on the flyer and yep it was still sitting in the garage with the front end problems, I bought a nos kingpin kit from a/b ford dealer in the Netherlands, but they wouldnt fit the brake rods as the ball on the kingpin was not right angled. Buying a other set kept me thinking of it would be the right one, so I took the old kingpin to a machine shop to get a solution to my problem, the guy told me it was worth a try to grind them down just until the scratch are flat and get them in new bushings, uhhh they are still in the machine shop.... Thus in meanwhile getting some info about rebuilding the engine in a other machine shop as in Belgium there are not to much engine rebuilders and it takes 8 to 10 months to get your engine back ! I found boat engine rebuilder nearby, and would take my engine to do just the machining and the rest I have to do it myself, the machining would cost me a 250 euros, a good price for the job. Babbiting would cost also 300 euros not bad also, I will also considering redoing the Babbitt or getting bearings as the price is the same. I thought there was someone who mentioned to use Volvo bearings as the where close or the same as the rods and crank would take??? So any info about that would be welcome... Fil
