I used Photo Bucket for a while but got fed up with the way I had to log in & then resize & redown load my photo's. Asked some local geeks aroud this hick town & one said try the free download/shareware called Irfanview. I'm using it now & seems pretty easy & not too many hoops to jump thru. Best of all it's all within my hard drive. Bad/good part their logo is a splatted cat. (i'm not a cat lover) (good). but it's on every photo's name (bad). Anyone else have shareware to downsize photos's & what are they? I keep seeing HAMB users having problems. & in PhotoBucket I always had images too large.
If you are running windows you can download this "power tool" http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/ImageResizerPowertoySetup.exe Once it is installed, you can open a folder of pics, select one, many or all of them and then do a right mouse click and choose resize images. It gives you the options for several different sizes as well as if you want it to resize the originals or make resized copies.
You havwen't used PhotoBucket in a long time I guess. Things have changed around there. You can bulk load up to 100 photos of any size now and you choose the size you want them to be once loaded onto Photobucket. "Message Board" size is perfect and the photo doesn't appear too large on the screen. Photobucket is quite easy now.
