custom shops in sf area

i'm looking for a shop in the sf bay area to do some custom body work. any reccomendations of good shops? anywhere within about 100 miles is cool too, sac area, south bay?

easy question: go to gambino customs in san jose. i recommend them completely (they've done work on my cadillac, and it's wrapping up to be a pretty notable custom...)

In San Jose, check out Gambino Kustoms. In the Sacramento area, Blue Collar Customs or Roseville Rod and Custom. All are represented in some form here on the HAMB...a search on those names should provide useful.

Check out "One Off Customs" in Santa Clara.

Presently, they are doing extensive custom metal work, including chopping the top, on my 36 Ford 3 window.

I have built/restored a lot of cars and am pretty particular about the work done on my cars. The head metal guy, Wes McFarland's work has exceeded my expectations. He takes great pride in his work and will not settle for second rate work.
