I'm gonna be in the Tulsa area on Saturday delivering some seats to Rashy. Does anyone know of any good junkyards in the are that still has some old shit? I'm looking for things for my 59 Plymouth so basically any yards in the area that you think may have stuff lying around from that era. Name, town, and intersection would help me out. Thanks all, Tommy
Why would you want do that when you can be out at the Tulsa Raceway Park at the Old Time Drags with the rest of us!
http://www.bestoftulsa.com/yellowpages/used_parts.shtml Wright Way used to have loads of 40s-60s stuff, but it's been years since I was there. Google the locations...most aren't all that far from the dragstrip...you could probably do both!
not your kind of car but off I-44 take 129th street east, go north to second 4-way stop then east to mingo auto salvage they have a crosley wagon, looks to be missing the pass. door, but body is saveable
Green Country Salvage is about 1/4 mile south of I-44 on 193rd East Ave. (also known as county line road) James ownes the place, it's a MOpar only yard. He may not have it there, but he has a "special" yard in Arkansas for the real good stuff.
this guy is about 3 hours (?) from tulsa in verona, missouri, but speciallizing in 50-60s mopars. give him a call Tom Welters (417) 498 6961
