This guy has a bunch of Hudsons too.
Anything that he thought was hot rod material wasn't for sale. The Caddy ambulance, seagraves firetruck and some of the other stuff was for sale though.

  6. I dont have any pics, but yesterday i spent all day at two junkyards both within 30 miles of my house, and both full of old cars, from the 30's right up to 70's. And the one is really cheap also. I bought a full set of 35 ford wires with 3 hub caps for $50 and a set of original kelsey hays wires also for $50. I found 3 old kustoms, a shoebox with 60 implala tailights and a fenched plate in a custom roll pan. A 52-54 merc convertable with packard lights (lens' were gone) and a 51 caddy with some sort of custom taillights. I also found an anglia gasser with a straight axle, mid 50's pontiac rear end, ladder bars that looked like 36 ford rear wishbones and an old water pipe style roll cage. It's complete minus the front clip and a motor, and its only $500, i'll proablly go back and pick it up when i have more spare cash.

  7. Well its not all classics, but enough to keep me coming back

a few years back we found a bone yard outside Sturgis S.D. that was full of hot rod material. the owner drove a 35 plymoth street rod and his wife drove a 55 nomad wagn. it was 4 or 5 miles out of town past the V.A. hospital.

 wow its not just on ebay these days

  16. OMG, that guy must have one of the most lavished collection of cars in one place. That's the most convertables I have ever seen in one yard.

Does he part them all out or are the cars for sale as well?

  17. Wow!!!! that is a crazy collection of cars !

  18. Kustomking is one of the yards i was the other day, thats the one with merc convertable with packard lights, the pic of the shoeboxes, the one with the rood cut off is the one that has the impala tailights.
Super nice guy, amazing metal working equipment in his shop, but tough to get parts off him. My buddy did manage to get a 37 ford front end out of there, for free!!!

On their website if you click the link to "cars for sale" it directs you to the pics I posted. So, I would say their up for grabs. I don't know how up to date the pics are though. Here's a link to their website :http://www.kustomking.net/main1.htm You'll notice if you go through thier pics, there's more cars in 'em !! When I copied the pics, they got cropped ! There's even more old iron out there !! Must be nice to go to work and see all that cool ol iron everyday !!

I grew up in a junkyard, literally. My dad delt mainly in mid fifties GM , and 49 to 64 chevy pontiac and olds.our house was there, and I was immersed in that for 20 years... He has retired now , and sold all the inventory to a guy a couple hours away.

  30. I think that might be a 62 Starfire, or 'possibly' a 61 98.
