I hope the family respects one's life's work... We will see what happens, that´s pretty much all I know right now.

Thank you for that answer. As others have said, the coupe you asked about is an American Bantam, which was essentially an Austin 7 built under license in the US. Many of those coupes ended up as competition coupes for lakes or drag racing.

Or convert a Triumph engine to Front Wheel Drive...

I hated working on those things.

  13. What year is that Auburn Sedan? 1929?

An old spinster and her two bachelor brothers lived in a rustic Victorian home behind my Grandfathers home and a car like one of these two sat in the long driveway beside my GF's house.
Seems the spinster had bought it back in the early 60's or even late 50's and had nothing but trouble with it so she simply stopped driving it!
It was parked in the paved driveway until around 1975 or so.
I tried to get my Dad to buy it for me but he said no go and when I was old enough to buy it myself the old lady wouldn't think of it because I was a Protestant!!!!!!!!?????
HUH? Religion? Just ONE God we ALL share lady...get real! :(
    I COULDN'T believe it!
    Anyway...
Guess it went to the dump eventually as it just disappeared one day...but if I had gotten my mitts on the darn thing it would have become a street GASSER!

NOT sure if it was one of those exactly or not, but the names might ring a bell. I DO remember it having that very same frumpy roofline that these two seem to share more or less...
i'm leaning more towards the white one as the blue looks bigger.

What a blast it would have been.

    What are they???

I am his son, one of the three owners, and I am afraid it is going to be my duty to sell that stuff what my father had collected some 30 years.
    Everything is for sale

I can sell stuff overseas as well. There is already lot of pics, but probably I will make a webpage with more information as long as I can find it.

You can contact me by dropping an e-mail : lockhaven@luukku.com with your contact info so I can call/e-mail you back. You may understand I do not want to publish neither my official e-mail nor my phone # here.

    Just a reminder:

I know something about old-timers, and I have been visited every now and then there on the area over the years. I have seen that pile growing and changing but some cars have been there since I visited there the first time back in 1979

My condolences. Thank you for the news what comes in to selling stuff. You may need to post some new info on a domestic forum as well. www.overdrive.fi

    Thanks,

  24. I like this one. Long wheelbase and Ford wide five wheels. So its either a French Chenard & Walcker or a GAZ. To big for a Matford. Anyone think otherwise ? Geez, do i need to make a road trip ?
    ( not a lincoln zephyr is it ? )
