    G'day blokes,

I'm headed to SEMA October 30-Nov 1 for work. I did the trip a couple of years ago and worked in the Fuel and Gas Finals, the NHRA Finals at Pomona and Donut Derelicts as well. I had a blast and would like to see some more of the country this time. So, I'm looking for suggestions of fun hot rod type events that might be on around that time...say late October/ first couple of weeks in November. Not worried about what state it is in (ok, Alaska might be too far), I'm happy to travel for a good show!

    cheers,

    Simon

Thanks Eric, that is one handy resource.

I am keen to get out of SOCAL and see what else the rest of the country has to offer, big or small.

HF, I'm unlikely to have enough money/energy to buy/bang anything, so they needn't worry about that lol.

Turkey Rod Run at Daytona Speedway on Thanksgiving weekend. East Coast of Florida. Is a 5,000 car show with over 3,000 vendors in swap meet.

Hugs and a ride in Big Olds would really get GRIFF warmed up, but if you had some cookies... who knows! :D :D :D

Hey Brootal, I got a fantastic hug and a few laps of the pits in the Olds...WOO HOO! Thanks Denise. Saw you on your way out on Sunday...I was very very very lost, was about to turn around when you motored past, your smile mile wide :) You must miss that car!!!! Spent today zooming around in the hill country (they say everything is bigger in Texas, but them hills seem purty small to me) in a bitching A coupe. Life is GOOD! Head out to the Alamo tomo. God Bless America!
