If you have the legs to walk it, Daytona's Turkey Run has a biggie. It's Thanksgiving day weekend, fro Thursday to Sunday. Sunday gets a little sparce, though.
Nope--November is the last show for 2007. Then The Spring Show the first weekend in March. December, January and February have too much competing: Christmas, paying for Christmas, New Year's, and then February is SuperBowl Sunday. Plus it's damn cold.
Sooo.... November is TWO days....lets see.... Last one for the year Cool weather for sleeping (tent,truckbed,truckcab, ground etc.) I might have to break out the burn barrel You got any full mason jars?
Moultrie is good. Daytona ****s. It is big, yes, but full of muscle car ****. I'll be there all week. haha....
I've been to the Turkey Run and also Moultrie. I always had better luck finding stuff I need at Daytona. The last time (2006) I went to Moultrie, it was mostly people selling the same kind of stuff I can buy all day on the internet. You get that at Daytona, too, but also lots of guys dragging stuff out of their garage. I'll be at Charlotte this weekend, and I'm going to try getting up to Braselton next weekend. So plenty of Southern swap meets in the next few weeks!
Jim, Moultrie is worth the drive. See ya there. Earl Schieb is coming down too, ya might try to hitch.
Peach State Speedway in Jefferson GA (right off exit 141 on I-85) has a car show - swap meet on Nov 3rd
