These two got my attention. Does anyone know if the owners are on the HAMB? Seems like the 5wd was shipped here from Norway & made a huge road trip while here. Does anyone have more pics of these cars? I think I lifted these from Don's Hot Rod Page - hope that's OK Don. Thanks, JH
ive seen the 5 window at a show before its got one of those made to look old paint jobs on it, wich i hate, either its old or its not, stop trying to make it look like its old,im not even sure if this car is metal!
The 5 window came from Sweden. I had a nice chat with the owner at the NSRA Nats this summer. It is a real steel car. The guy is living his dream. First he builds a spot on traditional American hot rod and then he ships it across the Atlantic Ocean and drives it across the USA hitting Bonneville, the NSRA Nats, and as many car events as he can. With the exception of the trip across the Atlantic (did that, got a GI Tee shirt) that is my dream to.
Cool car. i remember seeing it at the roadster show...Wonder why he picked Wardlow Top Shop to paint on the side? That shop is in LB and has been for years... Is the owner affiliated?
Thanks for the pics guys. Wonder if the Swede still owns the 5wd or if someone here liked it more than he did. If he's still road-trippin' I bet his wife has moved on to the gardener. I love most everything about both of these cars. It may have something to do with the unchopped tops. Damn I hope not though. I'm planning on chopping mine. So, does anyone know anything about the blue one? I think Ebay seller "Torqzilla" out of Missouri had it listed on the 'bay at one time. Thanks, JH
I'm stashing $$ away for a ch***is right now. Going to try to get one built over at Kennedy's shop in the spring.... hoping to be on the road sometime in '09. JH
No new info for ya Jim, but a few more pics. The tudor was driven to the Roadster Show by Jamie Johnson (Hot Rod Haven, Albuquerque). -Ryan
