I finally got my 50 Chevy out on the road this summer. It's a great feeling finally getting your car moving (and stopping) under its own power. Since a job change I have had NO time to do any further work on the car. It looks like ****, runs like ****, but is it MY old piece of **** and it now runs. Its a start. Someday it will even be legal on the road. Links to video at www.radioclandestine.com/oldcars.htm Give the video time to load. Warren
I call shenanigans. You must have used special effects. The speedo said you were going 0 mph! Congrats man. I hope to have that same feeling next summer if I get my act together
I ran out of penetrating oil to free up the original speedometer cable. That also is on the list of things to do. The only shenanigan was putting a rear license plate on it so IF per chance I caught on my road with this car, I would only get nailed for non-inspection. I register all vehicles on my property so the neighbors can ***** about too many vehicles but they are legally there. oldbuzzrard50
Oh my goodness! How wonderful for you. I am tentatively planning my motor transplant this Saturday...I think I will pee my pants the day mine runs. Soon, I hope! Congrats!
Congrats! Nothing cooler than getting it running and the stupid grin on your face when it 1st starts up! That grin should last a month at a mininum!
