Easy now... Personal grudges are one thing. I'm speaking with hopes that you're catching my general drift. If not, that's okay too. Most of us are here for the same reason. If its to bash those of us who been bashed us, ok. It's your perogative.
i think its cool but of course i like r.p.u truck,s red wheels, black primerwhat ever its all the same the wires i agree, not what i would want of course if a supplier would come in to my shop and give them to me for free i would use them of course i,m a whore like that.
I think anyone that builds anything different is open to ridicule. I also think it's a small mind that can't accept difference.
I may be way off but am i the only one who dug the hell out of his fleetliner? I mean i know he trailered it in last years driven dirty tour, but i think the roush inline six was pretty sweet http://www.posiesrodsandcustoms.com/posies_statements/fleetliner/
I think that truck is really, really, cool. Bet it takes a lot of work and mocking-up to make a top like that look right on a split windshield. And that's exactly what he did because it looks good. Nads rules him with the Speed Queen emblem though. I think he had one on his Packford several years ago.
Twice on separate occasions I've met Ken....he is a jerk. But.....he is an innovater. Facts are facts.
Like it or not, it's causing a stir... & in this business, if the quality is there, that's a good thing. He could have been a little more original with the color selection. I like it though. I think the top & windshield just look neat as hell. As for the Daytons.... for some reason, I like them on every '32 I've ever seen them on. Wow! Maybe I really AM a pimp. .....the guy who stocks the snack machine at work drives a big box truck (on a Chevy chassis) with a big, winged, "Kurb Master" emblem on the hood. I swear one day I'm taking it. JH
like i say spike has an eye for whats right on the look, even thru his lens after he snapped that photo,he has walked thru my shop and said on occasion w.t.f. and turned on another project and said that,s right on the money.not to suck ass but its fact.
After reviewing this thing, I like it but glad I don't have to drive it! For those cool dudes who have chopped rides(Like I have had), vision is a bitch! Keep the top down!!!
My A coupe had a six inch chop and four inch channel. looked great once you parked it. A real bitch to drive. He should be fine on the trailered dirty tour.
I like everything that he has built. There, I said it. All of his cars are extremely creative and stylish. Good or bad, he IS a trendsetter. Rich
A Washing Machine label for a grill emblem? That chop is as bad as his crappy baby buggy top on the roadster that he did in the 90's. If that's a trend setter , I hope nobody follows it.
Oh yeah. Posie is makin' another statment. Baby buggy fenders. A Roush engined "ratrod" truck... Spare me. Smokey
I saw his roadster pickup when we went to Hershey a couple weeks ago and liked it. Washer badges and all....................
lose the top, windshield, wheels and tires... add Wanlass windshield, the blue wire wheels and dirt track tires from the Coker roadster (18 inchers out back), and call it done.
I like dealing with Posie's. They've always been fair with me. The one problem I had was squared away and I had the parts in a couple days. Anyway, last year I saw the Dirty Tour stop at the Power Station/Museum next to the RR Tracks across from Locomotive Park. Sweetie and I were having lunch at Mr. D's 50's oriented diner on the other side of the road. As luck would have it, my 32 was parked outside. The Posi's gang didn't say much, after SEMA I would imagine they were car'd out. Anyway, we got to take a close-up look at the car's in the tour. Only one of which was trailered. Nicely built and interesting they were, but sadly, no pic's. One of the few day's I left the camera home. Got a new cell-phone though. Good part is, it has a camera built-in. Bad part is, I don't know how to use it . . . cept accidently . . . got a good collection of feet pic's though....
The cars that bring up all the debate are the ones you see on the magazine covers. I'm sure this will be no exception. I agree, the best car he's done to date is the Yellow 36 Ford.
if you are going to chop something THAT much, you would have to channel it just to make the proportions line up... and then a guy bigger than 5'4" couldnt drive it... and i wonder what size of windshield wipers they would use...
