Who's going to York?

My family and I will be heading to York on Memorial Day and staying through till the end of the NSRA Nats the following weekend... June 4th, 5th & 6th.

It would be nice to meet any fellow HAMBers who will be there, hang out and talk cars. Is it too early to start planning a get-together? It'd be nice to meet many of you on the east coast from whom I've been learning so much.

Ill be there.. Not sure on the dates though.. We're thinking about heading out there wendsday, for a fresh start on thrusday and friday..

I will be there as welll. I will get in Thursday night. I will be at the House of Kolor booth doing my software thing. drop by and say hey and let me know where the party will be.

I live two blocks over from the fairgrounds. If I can get a big enough BBQ by then I was thinking HAMBers should come over one day and roast some weenies and what not. There's a nice big parking lot in my backyard.

**** NSRA!!!!!! Money hungry *******s. They did away with camping so they can make room for more spectator parking. I refuse to give them one cent of my money!! You will see me at the free kick off party though.

I only live a couple of miles away but I have to agree with Clark, I will not be there. It just seems to be all money to them.

 

ol_scratch... your backyard sounds promising. I'll contact you when I get there. I'll be there all week... it's cool to see the slow build up of cars driving around town that week. I usually hang out for a little while at the Holiday Inn during registration on Thurs also.

Oh... and the dates are June 4th, 5th & 6th.

 

I think I read that they are having the nostalgia area again on Friday only. It's been a cool area in the past. If you come Fri. ask where it is. The fairgrounds have changed so much, who knows where it will be.

 

Yes, to me, the nostalgia area is the best part. I was disappointed that they didn't allow it last year. I do hope they bring it back this year.

I'll be there with 32flammedcoupe (Will)...we're doin the Jalopy Showdown and lookin more forward to that, cant wait for May 22nd. We camped every year at York and I know people NOT going coz of the camping.

 

34 we're camping at the Showdown. You guys are welcome to stay if you want. Sound like its going to be a big So What/ Hamb camp out!
