    Hi all,
Wondering if anyone here has installed a Dodge Dakota front suspension under the front of a 55-59 chev truck using Industrial Ch***is' crossmember kit. I'm in the process of the install now. So far so good, just wanted to talk to someone who's done it. How does it sit? I'm using 2" dropped spindles and may also cut the Dak V6 springs slightly if needed. I want it low, but not crazy low. The quality of the kit is incredible. Tech support has also been 1st rate.
    Any advice?
    Thanks,

One reason to pick a Dakota frontend is that it was designed for a TRUCK, not an economy crackerbox. I'm wanting to do an Industrial Ch***is conversion to my F1 and am waiting for ElPolacko to get the kits back in production for my ch***is, Hope to pull it off sometime this winter. I'm not going to put anything else under it and I'm not going to use anything but his kit. I've heard too many good things about it to use anything else.

Here is a picture of one of our frames for the 55-59 Chevy pu.

While this isn't the sam truck as yours it is very similar in frame to body construction, it gives you an idea of ride height. This Ford has one of our Dakota kits with stock spindles and uncut V6 springs.
