Theres ALOT of old Mopar,Desoto stuff,,lotta NOS high dome Pistons, Thankfully alot of stuff is stil NIB ,,lol
Where the heck do you find this stuff??? You always have tons of cool parts and cars that you have found.
I was going to post on this thread earlier but I did not know if it's for real. The last time someone said something about a barn I felt like an a-hole by the time I left because the whole thread was a joke. Now I just feel jealous that you found something as cool as that. I wish I could buy it all and set it up in my garage dust and all. Cool thread!
Nice stuff, Satan, so are you buying this shit or what? Or did you buy it and are you just teasing us? Tell us WTF is up.
Satan, if you mean this "Will trade car pats for Harley parts" I'll trade all my Harley parts for all those car parts.
All Hail Satan. Is there a story behind this collection? How does all that sweet stuff go untouched until now? Thanks for the thread. It proves that they're still out there somewhere.
any 53 chev stuff i might be interested. will you be posting a list of stuff? could use some trim and headlight bezels etc.
There are stashs like this all across the country wherever old guys liked cars and parts. As they fade away and their wives and kids give on doing anything will all "Dad's" or Granddad's" stuff they know nothing about, the stuff either gets dumped at the city dump, sold at auction, or pieced out like this stuff seems to be going away. Often these days, many "dead man's trailers" show up at swap meets being emptied for sale by "Dad's" club member friends who split the sales less expenses with the widows or kids. The good thing is some nice stuff appears and is often priced to sell right now, the last item sometimes being the trailer itself!
Satan, We need the story on this guy!! The scoop helps with the pain when you dont get to walk it yourself.
Don't really know all the details,,my brother just a regular guy,,was in the war,,and been playing with cars for years. This PT boat motor was also there.
Man Packard PT boat engine, apperently complete. Anythig for a 228 GMC? I have one that I'm sure could stand overhaul.
Holy shit! I would really see how much he wanted for everything and then take out a loan to buy it all. You would definitely make your money back.
"was there" they sold it for like 15,000 or something,,was a rebuilt ready to fly..what you'd put it in other than a boat I don't know
I have been told the Allison V12 of WWII was a derivation of the Packard, (don't know, I've never seen the Packard in person) so It might be made to fit into a shoebox at that (didn't someone in OZ put a Merlin in a 55 Chev?).
