All too new. I'm working on getting the yellow car painted now and rebuilding the 383 in it. The 67 I have tons of extra parts for. It was a 383 4 speed car that I want to paint Turbine Bronze with white buckets, a 4 speed and a stroked 400 that I have in the barn. The 66 was going to be a parts car but it runs so well with that slant six I just use it to drive my 14 year old basset around my dads land with. She thinks she's going somewhere and then gets out in the same place we started.
It is a 1939 Desoto Coupe. The guy that hauled it for me said people were offering him money for it at gas stations when he would stop for gas. No one seems to love my 1950 Desotos.
Can I join? All my cars are too new, but is sounds good to me. 1968 Coronet R/T 1970 Challenger SE 2003 Ram 1500 Dan Marvin, Owner Exeter Auto Supply
Confused to say the least allright... "info group", "networking"... Are you creating a new MySpace-page, website, mailinglist, just stickers, or what? Is it Pre '64 also just like here, or mainly older stuff? The late-50's and 60s era's are being covered pretty well with a multitude of forums these days I think.
All in good fun, my friend, all in good fun... So, how many cubes does the 401 come out to w/ a 4" arm? Of course, when you buy one of these imported cranks, plan on sending it to the shop to have it turned .010/.010. Ask me how I know... Now back to the regularly scheduled thread... here's my current project - now on hold while my shoulder heals up. The gay high-back buckets are gone now. Note mounts on frame to take big block. And yes, that wiring is going to get cleaned up. -bill
