Would like to convert from 235 6cyl to small v-8/auto transmission to replace powerglide. Are there bolt in mounting kits and what would you recommend for crate engine and transmission? Also would need new rear end. Any suggestions.
    Thanks

ch***is engineering makes a bolt in motor mount, but you need to do some cutting and welding on the crossmember to get a ****** in there. as for rear ends.. measure the original from drum to drum on the outside and head to the junk yard with your tape measure. as far as I know no rear bolts in, though there are plenty within an inch or so in either direction that would work.

search is a good idea. lots of good information here on the HAMB
