bingo, and its the whole back end. that may be important enough to put in the description..... or not. Make sure you know what you're buying.
all at the bargain ba*****t price of 14,500 dollars.

 

Even with my gl***es on I still can`t see it.Apart from being badly rooted,that is....(the body,not so much me...)

 

that really looked like the guy had been busy cut'n'paste 'ing with the welder. That roof/rear window looks all wrong and check out the very poor door fit.......not to mention the rear quarters & beaver panel.

You have to give the guy credit........he did post pictures of about everything. He is NOT hiding anything with 2 or 3 fuzzy snap shots and claiming it is NICE.

The first thing I saw wrong was the deck lid latch.

 

Yeah it looks enough like a real deal 3 window but the reviels next tot he deck lid opening are 5 window or roadster. And the tail panel is all wrong. I'd like to see that in person to see exactly what they did.
I'd have to say for the most part it is a 3 window body though.

 

Did the drag this thing up from the bottom of the Rio Grande?

 

I bet somebody patched up an old "homemade pickup" with 5 window parts. Still worth a few grand easy.

am I wrong or is the front of the [door to cowl line] tapered forwards too much?looks like fits a 34 3w door........also I like the barn door hinges on deck

3w(THE ONE YOU OWN) might have sent you to ground.anyway how about some more postings on the
restoration of that legondary car.i think it ranks right up there with the SO_CAL coupe!i`ll
proably get shot down for this,but i love those old rods;just like we built them back in the day!

To answer the question"Whats wrong" In one word ...EVERYTHING! The cowl is the only ok part there,most of the pics are to fuzzy to tell anything.
