    Rocketeer,

Hood sides are 34 chevy master delux, I actually saw them on a 3-window at this years lone star round up and knew that was what I needed to do to this car.

Tail lights are '37 Lincoln Zephyr with the licence plate light filled.

Headlights are 36 baby packards with the top trim left on (one not on in photo). These have been molded over the stock 36 headlight perches to get them as low as possible while still keeping them adjustable.

No decision on color yet. I am going to get it on the road in bare metal, work out the mechanical bugs, tear it apart and paint it. What color do you think I should paint it?

I have been thinking and planning this for a long time. Most of the design ideas are obviously taken from Westertgard and all those that followed his examples. Some of the small ideas are mine like the design of the skirts.

    Glad you like it.

I need to mention that all of the metal work is being done by Jeb Scolman of "Metal and Speed" (his company) in Long Beach Ca. He is really tallented and also great to work with on this design/build collaboration.

You have done what many have tried and failed. Congratulations, had you built this car in 1940 or 46 or 52 you would have been famous, to us anyway.
A great cl***ic look with enough of a twist to make it your own. Depsite the Commandments, I covet that car!
    Great job!

And people wonder why these cars from decades ago stand out from others. Simplicity in it's finest form. I say the nicest custom car that Henry F. never knew the attention that it would get decades later. Glad that I am local to you, bring out the drooling rags!!!! KNUX!
