SO anyway, got the X-member for a 1932 chassis. Ground, drilled, heated and beated out the rivets.. Quick little mock up. This one is going to be all old Ford parts. Original rails,Model A crossmembers, later X-member. After the X is blasted, then things will really start to happen. Who needs sports on TV anyway ?
I am still going to watch the game and root for the Roxs., until I can get those parts from you. Nothing else to do until then.
It's a 1936 I do believe X-member.Will take some trimming to work just right. Koolman, the brake stuff is here.... when can you come by? or should I just UPS it? YO Breeder, waz up? fizzle on my twizzle stick.
im not so sure why they call it a world series when the only teams competing towards it are at best in north america. that is...if toronto even counts!
I'd die without sports on TV, but thats an excellent chassis. Can't wait to see the build come together.
I don't watch TV,and never watch sports. Guess my little funny got y'all heading in the wrong direction. Everyone around me was talking about "the game" (I'm in Denver ya know) All I could think about was this old X-member that needed my attention. But the fat lady sang last night right? so no more of that wasted talk. If only I could get some of the sofa jocks interested in old Fords. Maybe then I would have some free help around here.
eric, I think your using that x-member because that engineer guy got on your case last week and now your ascared to go hot roddin with out one. seriously though that looks like it belongs in there. B
F-head,so cool you're back.Look at that 4 posts ! Have you figured out the picture deal yet? You need to show your 32 roadster to us all.Maybe a build post !
Rico, I tried to do some pix on here, but I think kims camera has too many resolutions, so i will try to turn down the volume on it and make another attempt later B
Lighten up guys... I love sports. The smell of methanol, burning rubber, the occasional blown engine and low ETs. It doesn't get any better!
