We awarded it to Mr Chevy but I don't know if he actually got the trophy......I left it with Jimbo (the drummer) and I'm not sure it got to him.... oh well if he didn't he'll get it next time we see him.....maybe that way we'll see that car again soon.... Pistons and Paint?????

I know what you mean, maybe we can visit next year, I did get to meet Hubnut.

Yes, Carol and the Pontiac club work hard and their efforts really show.

Everyone from our group in Illinois couldn't help but notice that whenever we mentioned we were from Illinois we were welcomed and made to feel right at home.

Yes, I agree trophies always seem to gravitate to the shinier cars.

James, Me and the boys had a good time hanging out with you and your son. We need to get together some and work on our cars.

Hey Stocker, yes I did get the trophy just this morning, right before we left the motel. They finished it last night around midnight and the paint was dry this morning. Cool!!

Say, where can I get some C.D.'s?

I would have liked to have seen the guy that owned the streetrod parked behind toadfrog when he offered him his can of wd-40 while he was wiping down the car...

LOL! Yea, we all need to park closer next time. Are ya'll going to put your cars in the big indoor show in January? The Auto Fest I think it's called.

Thats if they will let "us" in I mean.

If they don't let us in, we can put on our own show. We can call it HAMBfest.

Hubnut is wise beyond his years, with an old soul.

Looks to me that you were dressed for the occasion, Hubnut, judging by what everyone was wearing in that photo. Looks like I'm the one who needs to buy some black t-shirts.

  17. Earlier in the day several of us were hanging out up on the stage (all wearing black shirts of course), someone came up and asked who was in charge, someone else replied "talk to the guy in the black shirt!"

Well, rumor has it that we will attempt to keep the show in the River Market area. Rumor also has it that attempts will be made to spread awards around more equitably.

The indoor show is O'Reilly's Autofest, January 4-6. It's an invitational show and you do have to be selected but they want more club participation. Come as a group. I betcha you'll get accepted. ;)

Hey, us guys from Illinois like the River Market Area but it can get a little crowded. Where abouts is the fairgrounds? I'm going to try to plan on Americruise next summer, maybe both.
