I enjoyed the show despite the rain and the poor planning for the meet and greet. Here are a few pics. Here's where the meet and greet was supposed to happen (you can see the HAMB sign almost right in the center of the photo) I rode down in the rain with 57Trucker. 57Heap was traveling with us. Here's the 36 I mentioned in the roll call thread. He's the only HAMBer that found us. Hot Rod Primer's truck was in the 32 section. More random pics.
DRuss32 - Thanks for posting the pictures of my 5-window. Looked for other hambers but only found 1. The one I found was Deuce Roadster - real nice guy with cool stories and led me in the right direction for a rearview mirror. Missed the info on the meet and greet maybe next time. If anyone is coming through Bristol, let me know!
I just got home. I forgot all about the meet and greet. Hell I didn't know there was cars on pit lane till late in the day. Maybe next year. I don't know if I took too many pics.I'll look and post what I have.
Het guys it was great to meet up with you at Charlotte. Maybe we need to get a helium balloon to string up at these gigs so everyone can see the location for the greet. It would only have to go 8 or 10 feet in the air for all to see.How about window stickers? does the hamb have them?? Hey DRUSS thanks for posting a pic on the roadster.Went back sunday for the "Kustom of the year finalist award" and had my hats for you guys but didn`t see you. Time-Bomb John www.timebombs.ca
John,,,,the Hamb does have water transfer decals,,,but I really don't think a balloon would have lasted very long in the wind saturday,,,, Heres a photo of the decal in the lower left hand corner of my windshield,,,HRP
Hey HRPrimer thanks for the info.I will have to get my hands on one....or 2 actually one for the shoebox.Love the pick-up man..really stands out and looks hot-rod.Lots of pics on my site if you get a chance to get there.I got your message thanks...Time-Bomb John www.timebombs.ca
YEAhhhh. I saw that HAMB banner... Just figured it was some kinda "ad" since I had the inpressions the banner would be hanging with the tent.... oops I walked out and saw that sign and the old 57 and pickup in front of it between (I suppose) 1:30 and 2:00. I checked out all the cars on pit road and the track last. If you wondered around very much... right on the VERY end where you enter pit road was a VERY nice Studebaker Lark Convertible.
Sorry Boones I know the wagon your taking about. I past it a couple times on the way down. I took a pic but it was raining to hard to see it. Here is my favorite of the weekend
Both trucks belong to hambers,,,the black one is mine and the original one belongs to **** Spadaro,,,,HRP
I was there from Wednesday through Sunday. Friday ****ed, but Saturday and Sunday were great. That '36 was the Kustom of the Year Finalist from the event. It was amazing!!
Great pics - thanks for posting. That '36 is really cool, as is the red metalflake 32 sedan. Looks like alot of nice rides and folk not afraid of getting too wet. Best, MRAK
Hey guys thanks for posting a few shots of the roadster.Great to meet the boys that were there. To bad you didn`t get the shot of you sitting in the p***enger seat. You looked rather comfortable. Yeah "Kustom of the Year"....there was alot of great kustoms there that I saw....maybe it`s time for the early styled kustoms to take the stage?? Still proud of the nod though...Time-Bomb John want to see the build of this car go to www.timebombs.ca and check it out......
