No problem. There's usually something interesting around here
Freshening up the original 347. It had 2 broken rings, and a blown head gasket. And it ran fine. Should be lots better now though

Love them 57 Pontiacs! My highschool shop teacher had a Pink B'Ville Convert with a Contintal Kit and Fuel Injection! Yes, woman teacher!

    Groucho,
when you get around to postin more pics, please try to get a close-up of the shiny red part for me. It looks beautiful.
    Thanks!

Beautiful car, I've been partial to these ever since my father bought one new (his was a Star Chief), colors were cream with a red insert area. I was old enough to drive, and recall coasting down a hill, turning the key off - then ON at the bottom of the hill BLAM!... Did that several times until the muffler let go...

  10. Now that's not a combo I would have pictured looking good, and yet it looks great. Cool ride -

Not a fan of red, but the right red works every time. Very nice work!

Welcome Paul ! You're already a legend on here.

  15. How much is that car lowered and what size rims and rubber is on it? I just picked up a 57 Poncho and love that look. Mine it black on black however....

  16. Front is actually HIGH cause the motor's out in this picture, and the rear air shocks are pumped up to get it off the trailer. So, i can't really answer that

Hey Groucho, my cousin has that black '53 Pontiac Chieftain and you know it's clean. I know you saw it for the 1st time at Bob's then Hollywood Hot Rods, but this '57 is bad ass. Can't wait to see more pics

    Take care

  19. I dig that 53. We're trying to work on a trade deal. The 57's running again. I'll try and get the hood on it today, roll it out, and post more pictures. Anyone within reasonable reach of Nipomo/Santa Maria will be doing themselves a big favor to have Paul tweak on your car this winter. He's reasonable, FAST, and he has the eye for this stuff. He did this car in 2 weeks!
