Picked up this '53 Victoria Custom

    Bought this a couple months ago. It was built about 25 yrs ago in by a guy in Statesville, NC. He had to sell it to open a Hot Rod shop. It has a Dodge 318 under the hood and is a great driver. Later

    Nice looking car. What are the door handles? Any closer pictures of them?
    Only changes I would make are wider whites and remove the continetal kit. Just IMO though. :)

    One of the nicer looking '53's I've seen. Congrats. Is it black and white or dark blue? either way, sharp looking car.

    These pics don't do this car justice.
    It shows signs of age but thats why it's so cool.
    I believe the door handles are 53 Buick portholes.

    That's a *****in' car. And it looks all the better when you think of the other cars that were being built in 1982 and what they looked like. Considering the time the car was built, I'd say this builder had a really good eye and alot of courage to buck the trends. Not just with the styling, or his choice of car to build, but the engine choice, etc.
